As of 2019, creating stories on Instagram seems rather obvious, but finding tips and the necessary tools in order to improve them is a bit harder to do.
Today, YOÔ decided to reveal everything to you, in order to give you all the little secrets of Instagram that will allow you to create beautiful and intriguing stories.
Here are some tips which will help you stand out, improve your content, and engage your community more!
#1 Use templates
First piece of advice: Templates! Did you think it was impossible to use templates in story? Well, it’s possible!!! By choosing the color, the design, and the font, you will be able to create something unique and that resembles you.
But where can you find them? There are many applications compatible with iOS and Android such as Unfold, Over, Hype Type, Quick, or our favorite at YOÔ, Mojo.
#2 Copy and paste pictures
Have you ever seen multiple pictures on the same story and wondered how is that even possible?
Well, nothing could be easier than to copy a photo from your camera roll, open Instagram Stories, press the screen for a few seconds, and paste the chosen photo!
You can paste as many photos as you want!
#3 Create a Boomerang from a live photo
Breaking news: you do not need Photoshop to create a Boomerang. You can do it directly on stories!
In order to do that, you must have taken a live photo no less than 24 hours ago. Then, just select the photo to put it in your story and long press on the photo until the word Boomerang appears and VOILÀ!
#4 Create an original text
You can do a lot of things with the text tool:
- Create a rainbow text
Type your text, select it, hold the text with one finger and with the other finger open the colors, hold your finger on the colors and drag.
- Create a text with background colors
Type a letter, take the eyedropper to select the color of the background that you like, then do all the letters one by one to get a chiseled text and different colors (be careful not to put too many colors because this could be too much for the eye)!
- Create a 3D and depth effect
All you need to do is type a text of a color (the one of your choice) and create a new text box. In this text box, rewrite the same text as the one in that color. Then overlap the 2 to create this depth effect.
#5 Create a color background
Nothing is easier : Take a photo, press the pen to open the colors, choose one color and press the screen for a few seconds. You will now have a nice background color for your story!
That’s it, you have everything! The cards are now in your hands to succeed in making original stories that will make your future subscribers want to follow you!
