G La Galerie, a Mercialys brand, is a network of shopping centers on a human scale, designed to be at the heart of everyday life in France. With 48 sites across the country, it is more than just a place to shop: these are welcoming spaces that encourage people to meet, enjoy local events, and share customer experiences. Every year, millions of visitors discover a redesigned shopping experience that combines modernity and proximity.

As a client of our UGC platform, Mercialys relies on YOO with 33 campaigns activated in 2025 to continuously deploy micro-influencer and UGC campaigns to promote its key periods and enhance the shopping experience and events in its malls.

Context and challenges

The brand's objectives for the Christmas period:

  • Highlight the magic of Christmas at G La Galerie (illuminations, arrival of Santa Claus, parades) to generate traffic.
  • Boost the local visibility of each shopping center by showing that it offers a wide range of gift ideas, from major brands to specialty stores.

The challenge was to mobilize creators throughout France, create local resonance while ensuring consistent production quality to reveal the authentic daily life of the malls and showcase both the shopping offerings and the festive atmosphere. With this in mind, Mercialys called on our platform to pilot a continuous, easy-to-orchestrate, and effective micro-influence strategy for G la Galerie.

Campaign results

12 campaigns (micro-influencers & UGC) launched during the Christmas period

Rather than relying solely on traditional advertising methods, G La Galerie chose to deploy a UGC and micro-influencer strategy with 12 campaigns tailored to each city in collaboration with YOO.

The strategy was based on two complementary approaches:

6 Influencer Campaigns:

The goal was to get locals talking about the malls (Monthieu, Quimper, Fenouillet, etc.). Creators shared their experiences directly on their own Instagram accounts to inspire their communities and generate immediate traffic. They highlighted their shopping experiences, the magical decorations, and great gift ideas.

6 UGC campaigns:

For the galleries in Nîmes, Angers, and Lanester, the goal was to build a video library. Creators produced immersive content (parades, meetings with Santa Claus) to be published by the brand on its own social media channels.

We therefore helped the brand orchestrate this multi-site campaign by identifying the best content creators for each city, managing the briefs, and centralizing the administrative management and collection of statistics.
