Why did Truffaut choose UGC for its Christmas campaign?
In 2025, Truffaut opted for a different approach: bringing the magic of Christmas to life not through traditional advertising, but through authentic content created by real users. The goal was to generate emotion, drive engagement and strengthen the bond with its community.
The brand was looking for a solution capable of connecting its teams with UGC creators to promote its Christmas collections through authentic storytelling around decorations, modernize its communication on Instagram, and efficiently structure the entire process—from creator selection to content usage.


The campaign was built around two main pillars:
- In-store: showcasing product discovery, the festive atmosphere and the decoration selection.
- At home: staging the products in a warm interior, with the Christmas tree, table décor and festive details.
This approach not only captured attention but also made it possible to test the effectiveness of UGC as a long-term marketing lever.
Campaign results
To manage the campaign, Truffaut used the YOO platform, which simplified the entire process. Out of 200 applications, five creators were selected to share their Christmas preparations through Instagram Reels: in-store visits, decoration selection, setup and styling at home.
Each video followed an immersive storytelling format, often with voice-over, to convey the emotion and authenticity of the experience.
The platform centralized creator selection, content collection and three-year rights management, providing Truffaut with a smooth and scalable process.
The videos were then used as sponsored posts on Instagram and TikTok, one per creator, to maximize reach and advertising impact among new audiences.
Thanks to this solution, Truffaut was able to independently manage creator selection, visual and video production, and the promotion of the brand’s products and values.
